3rd Annual U.S. /Mexico Playwright Exchange
November 22 -24,2008
A 10-day residency and theatrical dialogue between 4 Mexican playwrights, 4 U.S. playwrights, and the Lark community. Through the translation of new Mexican plays, the development of these plays with established U.S. artists, and New York cultural exploration, the program establishes ongoing channels of communication and collaboration between artists in the U.S. and México.

Review 77 Launch

In celebration of Review’s latest issue, focusing on Latin American immigration and culture, The Americas Society presents an evening of readings by celebrated authors Alvaro Enrigue, Edmundo Paz Soldán, and Naief Yehya, all of whom are featured in the issue. The readings will be preceded by comments by Daniel Shapiro, Editor; Carmen Boullosa, Guest Creative Editor; and Lucía Melgar (UNAM), Guest Academic Editor of Review 77.

Panel discussion: Tercerunquinto

Tercerunquinto is a collective formed by Castro, Cázares and Flores that jointly manipulate architectural elements to change the spatial dynamics of interior and exterior spaces, in order to examine their limits and to alter their functions.
